Tradesweet, as the name suggests, deals in trading and distribution of artificial sweeteners and sweetening agents. Our goal is to become a one-stop shop for all the sweetening requirements of our customers.
Acesulfame potassium, also known as acesulfame K or Ace K, is a calorie-free sugar substitute. It is 200 times sweeter than sucrose. Acesulfame K is often blended with other sweeteners and its smaller particle size allows for its mixtures with other sweeteners to be more uniform.
Used as a food additive in baking, protein shakes and pharmaceutical products or in products that require a long shelf life.
Saccharin is an artificial sweetener that is about 300–400 times as sweet as sucrose. It is heat stable and does not react chemically with other food ingredients. It stores well. Blends of saccharin with other sweeteners are often used to compensate for each sweetener's weaknesses and faults.
Used to sweeten products such as drinks, candies, cookies, medicines, and toothpaste.
Sorbitol is a sugar substitute, which has approximately 60% the sweetness of sucrose. It is referred to as a nutritive sweetener because it provides dietary energy: 2.6 kilocalories (11 kilojoules) per gram. It is found in the fruits of apples, plums, pears, cherries, dates, peaches, and apricots.
Used in diet foods (including diet drinks and ice cream), mints, cough syrups, and sugar-free chewing gum. Also used in the manufacture of soft gels to store single doses of liquid medicines.
Sucralose is a no-calorie artificial sweetener and sugar substitute. It is about 320 to 1,000 times sweeter than sucrose, three times as sweet as aspartame, twice as sweet as saccharin and three times as sweet as acesulfame potassium. It is stable under heat and over a broad range of pH conditions.
Used in products such as candy, breakfast bars, soft drinks and canned fruits. Also used in baking or in products that require a longer shelf life.

Atul is the founding partner of TradeSweet. He has 30+ years of indenting experience in the artificial sweeteners space. He interacts daily with foreign sweetener manufacturers to market their products in India and works closely with Indian distributors to understand their import requirements. He assists distributors in terms of documentation and negotiations, to import the right product at the right price.
